I have been using Register4Less as my domain registrar for over 10 years.  I’ve tried the others… (you know who you are :–) and I have always come back to Register4Less both for price and their non-evil policies.

Their .com, .net, .org and other domains start at $15.95 a year. “But wait, I can get those domains for less from XYZ company” you might say.  That may be true, but does that low price INCLUDE PRIVACY?  Of course, it doesn’t.  If you want to keep your personal information private from the WhoIs websites it can cost upwards of $10 or more extra a year.  That cheap domain is now more than $15.95 a year.  At Register4Less the privacy is included in the yearly registration!

And the second thing to know about Register4Less is, for the same $15.95 a year, you get 10MB of free website hosting!  There are some restrictions on what you can do with this space, but if you don’t need fancy scripts running on your site, then this is a very reasonable way to host your website.  If you need a blog or other PHP-driven software on your website, then you need a full hosting service like HostGator or EasyCloud.  But if you don’t need all that, and if you have less than 10MB of files, then you can purchase your domain WITH PRIVACY and host your website for less than $16 a year!

Purchase New Top Level Domains

TLDs, or Top Level Domains, are the extension after the domain name, for instance, .com, .net, .org, etc.  With the popular .com running out of available possibilities, the new TLDs give site owners some new and interesting choices. An early example of a website
