Ted Horodynsky, a.k.a., ComputerTutorTed, wanted a website that was consistent with the look he already established for his successful computer services business in Princeton, NJ, and vicinity.  His advertising colors are black and orange like the school colors of Princeton University.

He initially wanted a single web page that is responsive to whatever device with which it is viewed.  The page describes his services and displays his impressive testimonials.  I created a new logo by updating the computer icon from his ads and put a picture of his “mouse calls” vehicle on the computer monitor screen.

Icons were used to give a quick visual reference to his areas of expertise.  Each icon has a tooltip or box of descriptive information, that flies in when the icon hovers over.  Included on the page are county links that open up shadow boxes that display the cities and zip codes within his house calls travel radius.

After the main website was established we turned to add a blog so the site would not be static and therefore be ranked better in the search engines.  I added a responsive WordPress blog in a sub-directory and themed it so visitors would still see his main service information in the header but without it taking over the entire top of the page.  The blog is linked to both his Facebook business page and his business Twitter account so when he publishes a blog post it is automatically added to his Facebook timeline and his tweets.

A business flyer and his business cards were also created to be consistent with the look of his website.
