Learn With Jenza
LearnWithJenza.com is actually two WordPress sites. The owners first approached me to create a website to promote their dog training business with the focus on a video how-to course about puppy training… thus the name “Learn with Jenza” named for their new pup.
Over the years the site went through many changes. Most recently we needed to update them to a responsive website, as well as helping them get more local customers for their dog training business in Tampa Bay, Florida. To do this, I created a duplicate WordPress install under the domain: http://dogtrainingtampabayflorida.com Though it’s a long name, it is a very competitive market so using as many local keywords as possible was the best solution.
Both websites use the same theme with only the “Training Videos” link going to the Learn With Jenza website. This way, once their videos are ready, they can brand their Learn With Jenza video course with that domain and sell the videos from there. While keeping the Dog Training Tampa Bay Florida website strictly for their local dog training business. By keeping both themes the same, customers do not realize they are switching between websites while giving them a brand-able domain for the videos and a SEO friendly domain for their local business.
Some of the noteworthy features of this theme are:
- Responsive design
- Responsive parallax homepage slider
- Custom scripted training page template
- Image gallery
- Training page sidebar newsletter signups for each individual course so clients can be informed of course specific news; includes QR code signup.
- Training page sidebar recent posts for only that course.
- Training page images section showing six random images from that training course gallery
- Google map integration for displaying driving instructions to training sites.
