AV1 Group

About AV1 Group:  AV1 Group, Inc. is a publicly traded investment and holding company established to identify, secure, and monetize emerging growth companies in a number of sectors that include cannabis related technologies, cultivation and ecommerce businesses positioned for exponential growth.

AV1 Group Inc. wanted a corporate website which could be a centerpiece for information about their corporation and their subsidiaries.  They needed a website but also logos for a number of product lines.

Each main page is topped with a slider and a quote which express their company philosophy as well as give each page its own personality.

The AV1 logo was designed by using a combination of a modern flat design style with an old world serif font.  This gives it both a contemporary feel along with a sense of timelessness.

The logo done for their primary subsidiary followed the same style and used the same font, but added some elements to make it clear it is a separate entity.  Again using the flat design style, a stylized marijuana leaf is use as part of the main logo blocks.  Using a white leaf instead of the over-used green marijuana leaf, give both the logo and the company a clean modern look while still using the old world font to give it authority.

One of my favorite logos I designed for AV1 Group was for their Growth Spectrum LED grow lights.  The GrowthSpectrum product line is an array of industry specific, state-of-the-art lighting equipment that will be marketed to the cannabis industry.  The Company’s strategic partnership with the LED manufacturer.

By using marijuana leaves as part of the word “growth” it clarifies the market these bulbs are marketed to while being generic enough to work for any indoor grower.   The colors behind the word “spectrum” are taken from the parts of the light spectrum these bulbs best deliver.  Using the same green in both words pulls the two parts of the logo into a cohesive whole.
